...are kicking my ass this morning.
Honestly, I'm tempted to take the dryer brush and jam it in my ear right now to ease the itching.
Right side of my throat itches so it hurts. Feels swollen. Why only the right side? At least my nose itches on both sides.
I haven't felt like this for years.
Will be popping benedryl, for which I will pay later in the form of 'if I curl up under my desk, will anyone hear me snore?'
We had a freeze overnight. I hate to say it, but I would willingly/happily/Here! Catch! sacrifice the flowers if whatever is getting to me got wiped out as well.

- Mood:
argh!
The reason the symptoms of this allergy o' mine seemed to hit me upside (and inside) the head so hard is because they were really affiliated with a head cold that has blossomed in literally the last few hours and left me feeling like hell.
There will be no running tonight.

I tend to get these Readers Digest Condensed Colds, which are pretty much over in 24 hours. Fingers crossed--this is feeling like one of those colds. My throat has already moved from 'sore' to 'a little sore with occasional itchy and that grabby feeling that brings tears to your eyes.' I don't have a fever. Nose is stuffed and I can't taste much, and I'll be lucky if I have a nose left after all this blowing. But I feel better than I did this afternoon.
I just want to be OK by the weekend. OK?
One thing I learned tonight: my cordless phone knocks out my wireless internet reception. I can't talk on the phone and surf at the same time. Boo! Hiss!
Cubs are losing to the Brew Crew. Dammit.
I have updated the '70 Days and not even feeling a little warm' running tally. Almost a fifth of the way done, which isn't too horrible. I may need to kick the counting to the curb, though, because I have rethought the beginning along with several aspects of the plot and what is on the page is no longer what it needs to be. And I don't see the point in polishing new scenes when these old scenes need changing. I'll see how hard it is to keep track of old and new wordage.
Now, however, I think I'm just going to go to sleep.
